About Mary Jo

Mary Jo is a 1984 Albin 27 FC, customized in 2016 with an enclosed salon and open cockpit replacing the aft cabin.  Mary Jo’s unique layout offers all weather comfort and versatility.  The salon’s two six foot benches are perfect for entertaining and with upgraded mattress quality Sunbrella cushions, also for lounging or as an alternate berth with guests aboard or if you want to sleep in the open air.  Windows and Strataglass offer 180 degree view, and with the rooftop AC / Heat, blackout curtains, screens and custom marine vinyl flooring.  With her 9’8” beam the salon offers one of the largest living spaces of any boat under 30 feet.  

The forward cabin offers a dinette that easily converts to a full/queen size berth.  It has an updated galley with a very efficient 12v fridge, a floor to ceiling pantry, and a sink with both hot and cold water.  The in-line .05 micron water filter provides high quality drinking water is directly from the galley faucet!  The wet bath includes a sink with a telescoping handle for hot water showers and a manual Raritan porcelain toilet with an expanded 20 gallon holding tank.  The cockpit offers an additional outdoor living area with fresh water wash down/shower, two folding chairs and red LED cockpit lighting.   Four rod holders have also been installed, perfect for trolling or storing a magma grill for your outdoor grilling adventures.  

Anchoring out is easy with the 10kg Rocna anchor, a 40 gallon water tank, 200 watt solar panels with a smart MPPT controller with an expanded house battery bank and a 2000 watt inverter when AC power is needed
